History

_{Born in the northern island of Hokkaido, Japan, Nahel started out with simply her French father, Claude, and her Japanese mother, Masumi. The family of three lived in a more rural area, not too far away from the city, but cherishing the privacy and nature that surrounded their home. In three years, Nahel's little sister, Nova, was born, joining the first born in her growing adventures around the house. Nomatter what the season, Nahel and Nova could always find themselves in the trees, foliage, and snow.

Naturally Nahel grew attracted to her father's work in hunting. What started as an adventure through the trees grew into an exciting search for prey. This developed very early in her years, and despite constant begging, Claude was not going to let his too-young-a-daughter hold a gun, strict gun laws aside. Determined to find something to make use of her time until she was old enough to hold a gun, Nahel searched for alternative ways to catch food that populated the area, like makeshift nets, snares, bows and arrows, sharp rocks....

At the age of 18, Nahel began taking the necessary steps to own a gun and essentially, become a hunter like her father. The process took many classes, examinations, but nothing could stop her from achieving a gun permit. It was the moment she would participate in even greater hunts, which was welcomed due to the overpopulated deer and boar in the area.

Nova appeared to have been inspired more by their mother, because once she turned 20, she was already off to see the world with her long-standing boyfriend. Nahel wasn't very fond of separating from her sister, but if that was what her sister wanted, and it made her happy, she was okay to let her go. And actually, Nova was always the one that never left her older sister alone, less she gets into trouble. Even when apart, Nahel would get phone calls and video calls from Nova, checking in on how she was.

One year later, Nova and her boyfriend came back to the house with some exciting news. They were going to get married! With a wedding invite in her hand, Nahel was speechless. The entire venue was going to be held in Oregon, USA, where the couple had decided to live for the time being. It was joyful news, but even as she hugged her sister, why was it that this time she felt like she couldn't let go?

First, Nova and her fiancé returned to Oregon to continue their wedding plans. Then Claude and Masumi left for the US to meet up with them. They wanted to bring Nahel along too, but she asked for one day to delay her arrival. She just needed one day, in a lonely house, in a quiet snow-covered forest, to think about everything and how she truly felt. Once that one day was done, she was ready, with a smile, to reunite with her whole family....}
